After long beer tasting sessions at La Cruz brew pub, a group of tele-turns addicts put together an idea born in the steeps of Catedral: to put together a festival, in which Argentine Tele-Skiers could benefit from the synergistic flow of such an event. Telemark PSIA instructor, David Heber from Santa Fe, NM, will be leading the clinics to develop all participants' level.
We will have video analysis capabilities, on-piste clinics to be held at Catedral Alta Patagonia ski resort, backcountry expertise, and new ideas to explore. We will be thrilled to learn everything from basic telemark turns to high angle dynamic jump turns. We are aiming at a broader event for 2011. Getting up-to-date gear ready for the whole group has been an adventure in itself. For this first telemark week, we are getting support from G3 of Canada and 22 Designs, one the finests Telemark equipment making companies in the world.
